Apple To Buy Beats

On May 9, it was announced that Apple is making a deal to buy Beats© music for 3.2 billion. The main reason Apple is buying Beats is that they wanted the rights to the company was not the headphones, but the audience and financing. The Beats headphone is mostly just an add on. The real purchase was mostly just for the music service, because iTunes radio didn’t do as good as expected. Beats was beginning to show up atop athletes and musicians heads. The Beats company founder, Dr. Dre, is going to be known as “The first billionaire in hip hop.” Making him more successful than other musician-made headphones such as SMS audio by 50 Cent, and Soul, by Ludacris. The purchase of this company to feed the Apple giant was a smart move on both sides, apple redeems iTunes Radio and Dr. Dre is the first billionaire in hip hop.

I think that maybe since Apple has more manufacturing power the price of Beats headphones will go down. This would make more people buy a pair of Beats and then the popularity of the music service will go up quickly. This could lead to Apple being the able to put more funding into the iPhones and ultimately take samsung's customers and become the biggest Phone corporation on the planet.
