The pictures show him appearing behind children. The tall suited man without a face was the perfect mix of scary and intimidating features making for a very creepy monster. This sparked the many things to come based around Slender Man. A few of the things sparked by these pictures were the popular series of games Slender: The Eight Pages and a whole lot of posts on the extremely popular website Creepy pasta.
